The present site was, for hundreds of years, the site of a nursery garden. Then in the eighteen hundreds the Victorian architectural planners abruptly changed its face, but it has reverted to its original use. In one acre of landscaped gardens, classical music creates the mood and pleasant ambience while you take a relaxing stroll around.

Very friendly advice and gardening tips are available and every month, an extremely useful garden guide board is displayed prominently, listing the jobs that should be undertaken throughout the year.

There is parking on meters opposite and on the surrounding streets.

There is an extensive selection of plants to chose from, directed, naturally, towards the needs of London gardens, balconies, roof gardens and patios. We offer all summer bedding plants; between 30-40 different varieties of herbs; popular climbing plants; heather and alpines, roses, herbaceous plants, shrubs, a large selection of evergreens - magnolia, camelia, rhodedendron and so on as well as ornamental trees.

World's End has one of the widest, if not the widest, ranges of house plants in Central London, and because a large percentage is imported directly from Holland and Belgium, it is also one of the cheapest.
